Ordering

When will my order ship?

At TackleTide, we understand that once you’ve picked out your fishing gear, you’re eager to hit the water—and we work diligently to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Our team typically needs 1–2 working days to process, inspect, and package your complete order with care, ensuring that every item—whether it’s a lightweight spinning reel, a set of precision-engineered lures, or a rugged tackle box—is in perfect condition before it leaves our warehouse.


For more intricate products that demand extra attention to detail—such as custom-built fishing rods with specialized guides, multi-functional tackle systems with intricate storage compartments, or high-performance reels with advanced gear mechanisms—processing times may extend to 3–4 working days. This additional time allows our experts to conduct thorough quality checks, testing components to ensure they meet our strict standards for reliability and performance, so you can trust your gear when it matters most.


Please note that orders placed after 3:00 pm EST on Fridays, or over weekends and public holidays, will be processed and shipped on the next business day. As soon as your package is on its way, we’ll send you a confirmation email with tracking details, so you can follow its journey right to your doorstep.

Where do you ship to?

TackleTide is proud to serve anglers worldwide, offering shipping to virtually every corner of the globe. Whether you’re casting lines in a remote mountain lake, a bustling coastal harbor, or a tropical river, we’ll ensure your gear reaches you.


Shipping times vary by destination: for most countries in North America and Europe, delivery typically takes 5–10 working days, while shipments to Asia, Australia, and other global regions may take 10–15 working days. These are estimated times and can be affected by local customs processing, weather conditions, or other unforeseen delays—factors beyond our control.


Additionally, orders shipped outside our base country may be subject to local customs fees, import taxes, or duties. These charges are determined by the destination country’s regulations and are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking with your local customs office for specific details before placing your order to avoid surprises.

This not only supports local economies and skilled craftsmanship but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with long-distance transportation.


For specialized components, such as premium braided fishing line or eco-friendly bait alternatives, we partner with global suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. Every material undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it’s durable, high-performing, and safe for both anglers and the aquatic environments where our gear is used.

How accurate are the colors shown in your photos?

We strive to ensure that the product images on our website accurately represent the colors of our fishing gear, so you know exactly what to expect when your order arrives. Our photography team uses professional lighting and high-resolution cameras to capture true-to-life hues—from the vibrant reds of a topwater lure to the deep blues of a tackle box or the natural wood tones of a rod handle.


That said, slight color variations can occur. These may be due to differences in material batches (for example, natural materials like wood or certain fabrics can vary slightly in tone) or variations in monitor settings (brightness, contrast, and color calibration can affect how colors appear on screens). Rest assured, these differences are minor and won’t impact the functionality of your gear—but if you have concerns about a specific item’s color, feel free to contact our team for additional photos or details.


Returns

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely happy with your TackleTide purchase. For full details on our return policy—including timeframes, eligibility, and step-by-step instructions—please visit our dedicated “Returns & Exchanges” page.


In short, most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they’re in their original, unused condition (with all tags, packaging, and accessories intact). This includes unopened tackle packs, unused rods and reels, and unmarked tackle boxes. Custom or personalized items may have different guidelines, which are clearly noted on their product pages.

My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

We take great care in packaging every order to ensure your fishing gear arrives in perfect condition—using shock-absorbent materials for rods, waterproof wrapping for reels, and sturdy boxes for tackle. But if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please let us know right away.


To resolve the issue quickly, contact us through our “Contact Us” page within 7 days of delivery, including your order number, clear photos of the damage or discrepancy, and a copy of the delivery note. Our team will review your claim promptly and arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund—whichever you prefer—at no extra cost to you. If we need the damaged item returned for inspection, we’ll cover the return shipping fees.


Payment

Do you offer cash on delivery?

At this time, TackleTide does not offer cash on delivery (COD) as a payment option. This decision is based on ensuring secure, efficient transactions for both our customers and our team, as COD can lead to delays and complications in processing.


Instead, we provide a range of secure, convenient payment methods, including major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and trusted digital wallets like PayPal and Apple Pay. All transactions are protected by industry-leading encryption technology, so your payment details remain safe. Plus, these methods make it easier to process returns or refunds should the need arise, ensuring a smoother experience for you.

Can I use Afterpay for products that will ship to Los Angeles?

Yes! We’re excited to partner with Afterpay to offer flexible, interest-free payment plans for customers across the United States—including those in Los Angeles. With Afterpay, you can split your purchase into four equal, biweekly payments, with no hidden fees or interest as long as payments are made on time.


This option is available for most items on our website, making it easier to get the fishing gear you want without waiting.
